I need new band saw blades. My saw takes 93X3/4X.032. I am looking for a multi purpose blade. What do you guys recommend and what pitch? I was going to by some Bi-metal blades in the Enco sales flyer? I was thinking 10 tpi?

Thanks Bob

Not that they'll have the size you need but it has some good information.

Bimetal blades give long life. TPI depends on thickness you mostly cut. Here's the tooth selection chart from M K Morse:

and this is the listing of blades & TPI:

I use a 4/6 variable pitch, 0 rake, since most of my cutting is 1/4" and thicker. Disadvantage is you have to really slow down feed on thinner material.

Best price on these blades, custom welded to length is Decatur Custom Tools @

If anybody knows a better source, please post. Last cost was $18/blade.
