This is my Cincinatti #2 tool and cutter grinder. I have had it for about three years now and haven't done much with it, however just as soon as EVAN can tell me where to get some "ROUNDTUIT" I will get at it and try to learn how to sharpen some of my tools. Now that "ROUNDTUIT" will have to be in Canadian so I can read the manual eh? http://bbs.homeshopmachinist.net//smile.gif

I have been monkeying around with mine for the last couple weeks, It was free and ran good. Was setup for doing large cutters for horizontal mills. I've made an air splindle with 5C collets.
Not having much luck with the ends of endmills thou, wish I could find more info on sharpening them.

Post some pictures. Matt

Ya know, I really don't know what an air spindle is. Would somebody care to explain, and maybe how to make one (simple)

The English E-Bay sells a CD which supplies some 156 pages on your Cincinatti.

I can only recommend that you both acquire copies.

As a public service, I have been sending out copies of the Cincinatti #2 T&C service manual, operating manual and electrical schematic on a CD in Adobe Acrobat format for 50 cents plus postage. If you want one send me a personal message on the Chaski bulletin board and I'll mail a copy. If you happen to have access to an email site with 20meg or greater attachment size, I can email it to you in big chunks. The operating manual goes through all the attachments and how to set up for a variety of cutters and tools.

I have a Cincinnati no 2 that I have to get running this summer. I have the cd with the user manual on it, I also have the original manuals for it also. If you need certain info on it, I could copy it on my scanner and send them as a jpg. I would like to motorize 1 work head as to od grind pins and so forth. I have a lot of the attachments for it in 2 boxes. Just have to have time to mess with it. Pat
