gave up on ebay, an old atlas turret lathe sold last night for$285. OUCH! It should have been me! so I figured I'd ask around. You guys seem more trust-worthy any way...

no lathe for sale here
just wondering is saying we are more trust-worthy than ebay a complement or an insult http://bbs.homeshopmachinist.net//confused.gif

Oops! sorryabout that, did'nt realize the no sale rule......btw-I meant my first comment as a compliment.. I haven had any bad luck on ebay my self, but then hardly ever use it.
It's my experience that the machinist community is very tight knit. Thats why I enjoy the trade, but keep my nose clean!

At least you have a sense of humor -- someone last night, I think his screen name was DUFUS, got all pissy. Thought he'd been violated. If you want to be humiliated, scorned, critized or berated, just post a picture of your work! <LOL>

Welcome aboard, Eddie.

It's always nice to chat with like minded people.
