Congratulations to you and your wife!

Like David said above, "Hold on tight, cause she will be a teenager next week". My little girl is 42 years old and it seems like she was a baby yesterday!

Enjoy her!!!!

Congratulations Dad! One suggestion, get your camera fixed. Looks like a blue (boy) blanket and she should be reveling in all her feminity from day one! Get her some frills and make a princess of her. Then get her a brother to help look after her! That's the natural order of things!

Wow! You're at the begining of something wonderful. Trust me, their's nothing better than being a little girl's Daddy and if eddie had any sense he'd know you're wraped around all of those beutiful little fingers as well as a couple of toes. Don't worry about the frilly blankets and making her a princess, let her be who she is, she'll let you know in no uncertain terms and if you can let her do that you'll all be the happier for it.

The blanket? We didn't know what we were having. Boy? Girl? This was the 1st picture we took. Still some little things to iron out! Haha.

Thank-you all for your kind words. I understand, a little, and more as i get older, the joy this brings!

WOW, you look awful proud and content.

My oldest daughter is 24 and has my two yar old grand daughter, my second one is 13 years old.

Both were newborns just yesterday morning I believe - looking back.

Enjoy that moment forever, freeze it in time, and remember it when the little bugger comes up thirteen years from that day asking to have her belly button pierced......

........Hey! I was there 26 years ago. As others said and I'll say, enjoy them while they're little because they'll be grown up the rest of their life. Still enjoyable, but different. Something SO special about hearing that 'Daddy' being said in such a sweet trusting little voice.

What an adventure it was! I envy you all the little milestones to come. Crawling, walking, talking (oh God!). Everything to them is new and has to be explained or smelt, or looked into or tasted. Bikes, cars, horses, boys, clothes. All of it was wonderfull and aggravating, exasperating, and mystifying.

Can't wait to be a grandpa. They'll hate to bring the kid over. It'll be ruined!

Best,
Rick

Her name is Audrey. I was joking in the hospital that Catherine and i have to start on some brothers to protect her from all those boys.

What a web. She seems to grab my attention at every second. This is just day three.

I think this is the moment i feel the most helpless. Catherine has no more then 4 hours of sleep in a row, and a grand total of 10-12 hours over the past 3 days. I wish i could do more but there are some things us men can't do, breast feeding is one of them. Hahaha. Anything else, i am there!

Congrats, Rob!

She'll have you wrapped around her little finger in no time. I have 2 girls and they know just what buttons to push to get daddy to be a pushover. The oldest is 5 and the youngest is 3. My son (8 years old) will do whatever it takes to get away from them.

Enjoy her.

Congrats!
My wife has been bugging me for one of them. She hasn't specified on the "in door" or "out door" plumbing model. Somehow I guess ya dont get a choice.
Cheers!
