Not marked as to maker.Looks like a little lathe cross slide and tailstock.Graduated rotation scale on the cross slide(?)Lever type arm on the tailstock with some type of taper in the nose, very small.Very nicely made and appears fairly old.

Bonjour Mindi. Bienvenue! Je ne parle pas beaucoup de francais, mais les hommes ici sont vraiment gentils. Pliens d'expertise et d'humour, et pas beaucoup de "rednecks".

For those of you who don't speak french, you'll just have to surmise...

Reminds me of the frustrated admin's page-not-found page: (contains foul language)

Mindi,

Welcome to the group!

There's a goldsmith/silversmith in this area, I'll see if he can email pics of his work. Does twist & braid, awesome products.

Is that a collet drawbar in the tailstock?

They look like a cross slide and tail stock off of a jewelry or watchmakers lathe.

Yes it has a collet in the tailstock.
Any ideas for something useful to make from this?
There are bandwith limits on the photo storage, guess I should have noted that for all the smart asses.
