If you contact LeBlond USA at (888) 532-5663 http://www.leblondusa.com/html/contact_us.html (Service: Press 3) they'll find this for you.

You'll need to have the serial # of your machine when you call

I have a leBlond Regal 19", and it has a L1 spindle. They are called long taper. I suspect yours has a L0 or L1.

I found out about my spindle in the Wholesale Tool catalog. There is a table in there with dimensions and diagrams for some of the various spindles.

The 15" should have an L0 spindle with a Morse taper on the inside

If you would like some info on your Regal, Click Here (http://www.bbssystem.com/viewtopic.php?t=65) and enjoy.

There is a Yahoo group for Leblond lathes too:
http://groups.yahoo.com/group/Leblondlathe/

p.s. My 15" Regal has L00 spindle nose with #4 Morse Taper I.D.
