The first two look like universal drill jigs.

Man, some guys have all the luck! They never have good stuff like that when I go to an auction.

I would expect that an "Axe Agent" would be able to score big at auction http://bbs.homeshopmachinist.net//biggrin.gif (I'm a fan)

Friends alway send me copies of those Nick Carter books on my birthday. Now of course I get emails from teenage girls who think I'm the singer in that execrable boy band, the backstreetboys...

Nick,

They're called self-centering machine vises. You set them up on the mill table with a centerfinder indicating exactly where the two jaws meet. No matter what diameter round stock or what size square stock, the vise brings the center under the drill bit or milling cutter.

Handy when you're doing multiple part production runs. Now if you only had three mills, you could mount one on each...............................

The response has been underwhelming, but we did figure out the 4th vise, it bolts to a 6" Kurt's back jaw so you can clamp a stack of parts from the side as well as between the jaws. (useful!)
Beyond everyone telling me the other vises are self centering, no other data on Heuser has been forthcoming. Must not have been a successful company.
