YOU could, about $10 for the aluminum about 1 hour labor. Some things are not worth it.

Having made some jaws for my Kurt before, I hopped right over and bought a set just to have on hand.

No affiliation, but the guy selling the angle jaw affairs also sells Kurt aluminum inserts at a good price, better that these if available singly. Check his other sales. Better deal than the angle thing in my opinion.

Those "Angle Jaw affairs" were sold by Quik-Key Manufacturing Co. They were cheaper than those being listed on ebay.(about $130) I have one sitting on the top of my computer monitor. Been there for a while, so you know I don't use it much. (like never!)
