Needs paint, a whole lotta love..

YOU.. YOu are the "other" person here buying "JUNK" and bringing it home and Loving it, rubbing it, rewiring it, making it into something everyone wants.

The foundry robot is still broke,
The english wheel is still broke
The 24" lathe is still dissconnected
The exhaust fan still has the damper on it.
The tig torch has spiders.
The spot welder still needs the air.SSr hooked up.
The 1800's drill press is still waiting.

Ya gotta be stubborn to make a silk purse outa a sows ear.

It never will be all done. And the house is still needing trim work and ....

hoffman,

didn't you have something similar earlier this year that you got from your machine sales weekend job? or did you finally bring that one home?

Looks a bit like a Sheldon.

I've never seen a Rusnok head that's crappy enough to go with it, though.

I had a Vernon once, which was the same as the Sheldon. Nice rigid machine. Well Made. I always wanted to get a Rusnok head for mine, but never did. I came across an original factory vertical head and bought that instead. I didn't get a chance to use it much, because I sold it shortly there after to buy a Rockwell. I wish I'd kept it.

Go for it ......turn it into something to admire.
must be very humid in your part of the country....
machines all seem to be painted with the same flaky gray paint......are they all out of the same titanic machine shop. http://bbs.homeshopmachinist.net//smile.gif

Mark,
That's the "AFTER" picture, you don't want to see the "before". http://bbs.homeshopmachinist.net//biggrin.gif

I didn't get it. It's pretty small and I'm pretty covered with projects right now.

I just thought some of you guys might want to see it. I'm sort of fascinated by the smaller machines...
