Much ado about nothing, at least for here. I don't know a single person that receives their television off air. Everyone uses either cable or satellite, both of which are immune to that sort of interference.

What a load of BS. Wifi does not go miles normally and is not anywhere near TV. You know FCC part 15? Device may receive intereference that may result in undesirable operation? Put a band pass filter on if your worried.

There is much more to this than meets the eye. First, Bill, the wifi was an example of a device that does not interfere. No matter, this isn't about interference. This is a FUD campaign by the TV brodcasters who are staring down the barrel of a Microsoft gun.

Qualcomm Corp has been asking the FCC to allow the use of the 746 to 806 mhz band space (UHF TV channels 60 to 69) to provide high power wireless broadband access. Microsoft is in on this and wants to become a prime entertainment provider over the Net.

What a load of billet they're putting out. The real story of that little video clip is probably who produced it, backed it, and benefits from it actually convincing anyone. It was so ridiculous I couldn't even watch it all.

The biggest source of interference coming from my house is probably the MIG welder. http://bbs.homeshopmachinist.net//biggrin.gif
