As i stated in an earlier post i built a transit case for the 2 scale model Brownings. Tried to copy the original as much as possible from pictures. Both the 1917 Water cooled and the 1919 Air cooled and both tripods fit in the same case. Oak, velvet lined, no fasteners used to secure guns except those to assemble the tripods. Dimensions are: 9.5" wide, 7.75" high, and 34" in length. Also, the case holds 2 ammo boxes, tool box, and oil can. It may be small but its heavy!

IOWOLF: Here's an old picture of the Gatling on workbench. It's the Model Engineering Drawings version not RG&G. You're right, the M2 would look good with the .17 Mach 2. I will take some better pictures of the Gatling in the near future.

I lurk here quite a bit but now I have to ask a question. Where did the drawings for the scale MG's come from. I see the descriptions in the posts but don't find anything in a google search.

I'd like the drawings even if I never built anything.

Chriskat: You can get a set of plans (both 1917 Water cooled and 1919 Air cooled) from David Meador at (www.ccsprints.com). They were $55.00 per set and did include both tripods, piston and spade grips. They are easy to make, if I can do it anybody can. If you need more info contact me.
