Looking for a few interesting projects for my portfolio. I have been a mechanical designer for several years, but can't disclose the designs I have created for past employers on my new website. This is why I'm offering to develop a parametric assy model and fabrication drawing for your mechanical device, free of charge, in exchange for the right to display on my future website portfolio. This can be done entirely over the web, fax, and phone with a chance for you to review and mark-up the first draft. No software or CAD experience is required. When it is complete, I can snail mail your project to you on CD if you would like? Again, this is not an advertisement to sell, just an idea we both can benefit from. Ideal project would have 10-15 individual parts.
Thanks,
Lars

If I sent you a part that I wanted to reproduce on my CNC could you draw it up?

I'm working on big brake kits for Porsche 911's and I need to make modified hubs, the design is beyond my Solidworks skill level. Basically I want to repro the factory hub but reduce the OD by 0.240"

Let me know.

Yes. I will need whatever spec you have to define the part and your redline to reduce the diameter. Or you can ship the actual hub. Are you looking for a (.sldprt) file to translate into your CNC?

Hi Guido, what do you have in mind?

I'd ship the actual hub along with instructions for where I want it to be smaller. I'll need to dig one out of storage to send to you.
