I am looking for copies of 2 articles about building a Stirling Engine powered tractor. These articles were printed in the March-April and April-May, 1997 issues of HSM.

I have the other necessary articles.

Is there anyone in this group that built this project.

Thanks

You ought to be able to order the back issues, or copies of the articles, from Village Press.

As you can see I don't follow plans very good.

There has been lots of these hot air tractors built. They are good runners

Hey Gary, nice looking tractor. Where did you get the plans for it and how long did it take you to build it. It looks great. What kind of engine does it have on it, steam? Any info you could give me about it would be appreciated.

Japcas, as IOWOLF said this Information was from HSM magazine. Rudy Kouhoupt had designed and published the plans for this in a series that ran about a year. They are hot air engines and the brass one was just made to look more like a steam engine. No idea on how long it took me, being retired (or is that retarted) I don’t keep track of my time………. gary
