I finally got around to using the great ideas that I got from you guys on here for boring. Here are some pics of the Main pin holes for the backhoe.

Took a long time to get your pictures up with my dial-up connection, but the third picture was worth the wait.
Must have been a tricky job getting that up on the lathe and getting it on center. I am impressed.

What are you making the bushings out of?

How are you holding them in?

The holes were so bad that I more or less eye balled it on center. I turned the cutter backwords by hand and got it close to center. The bushings will be made of steel and hardend. I would rather make new pins later then bushings.
