Does anyone have a reference to a web page where I might find some useful info about winding springs?

All suggestions cheerfully received.

That's a "how to". For design summary, try

Marv Klotz also has some software that will take much of the guesswork out of making a winding mandrel too. He also has a couple of other useful "spring" programs.

Thanks Marv for your continued gift giving.
