Glad you mentioned Texas and Longhorns, 'cause around here, UT means BIG ORANGE. Ever hear of their women's coach, Pat Head Summit?

LOL... It means the same thing in the Northern Hemisphere too. http://bbs.homeshopmachinist.net//biggrin.gif You must be thinking of the Aggies. http://bbs.homeshopmachinist.net//biggrin.gif http://bbs.homeshopmachinist.net//biggrin.gif

But in this case, it refers to cheer. http://bbs.homeshopmachinist.net//wink.gif

Never mind that. Canada goes against Russia this afternoon for the gold in junior hockey.

Hah! The Canadian juniors kicked the Russians butt, 5-0.

Say, did I mention they also kicked the US team's butt? http://bbs.homeshopmachinist.net//biggrin.gif

Hockey? Yep, got some hard core fans here. One of them is a young lady, and she is real dedicated. They are Kings fans, quite a few of them. Must be an appeal to the sport. I enjoy football myself...JRouche

lynnl --

I used to work for a wiry runt of a Texan who had those very words, engraved on a little brass plaque, hanging on his office door. His blood pressure would rise into the 4-figure range almost every morning when he came in and found "little yellow sticky notes" on that plaque.

What sort of things were written on the notes?

What does this say about Texans?

Then thank goodness I ain't a Texan!

And if you ARE from Texas, you are . . .

Years ago, womens gymnastics was a good
spectator sport but for quite a few years
now it's a kiddie thing. :-(
