I wonder if anybody has ever been refused free shipping from ENCO for using their (ENCO's) code month after month. When I call to place an order, they can always tell by my customer number when last I placed an order and most likely that I'm not paying freight. Don't want to wear out a good thing, but neither do I want to pay freight since they changed their freight rates last year. INPUT?

I don't think they care or maybe they just don't check it. I have been using the free shipping codes for over two years without problems.
The code I have for January 2006 is: WEBNRJN6
Doesn't mention any weight limits.

A very good guess is that some people,(me included) use that free shipping code for those granite surface plates! Yeh I had to figure they lost their shirt on that.

Aughhh! I just did a search for the Jan. free frt. code before placing an order this past week, got zilch - and wound up paying $10 frt. for an order that's probably going to cost Enco less than $6 to ship. Wonder if they'd honor the deal if I ordered a Phase II rotary table using the code? Bid on but missed a couple of Yuasa RTs on e-bay this week & last - the last one (10") looked brand new and went for $455. Shipping would've added another $101, but these tables are listed in KBC & MSC for around $1500.

Yeah, I ordered THREE small granite surface plates for some friends at once using the free shipping code I've used at least once a month for the last year or more.
Then, I got a call from ENCO shipping dept. The nice lady said that the three plates would add up to something like 210 pounds - way over the UPS limit. (The free shipping only applies to UPS shipping.) She then asked me if I would mind receiving the shipment in three boxes so I could get the free shipping on all of them. . .
