I'm considering it for my lathe because its missing its QC gearbox.
I would need to use the external driver with larger steppers.
I have no experience with stepper motors or controllers and don't want this to turn (no pun intended)into another endless project.
BTW if anyone has any info about a Troglia lathe I would really appreciate it.
