Anybody know what the thread is in a valve stem (for the core) and where to get a tap? Thanks

internal looks like 34 tpi ~.205 Maj Dia ~.182 Minor Dia

Most any well stock auto or bike shop should have them they are used for holding the tube valve from falling thru the hole in rim also to chase the threads in and out and remove the valvey thing inside you get a four/for a couple bucks the tool bargin of the day LOL

yes the tool works fine as a tap in soft stuff, its a dandy little tool, I have 2. that cost me $4-$5 for the two. lol

I had some stuff that I needed to tap for a Schrader valve at the old job. So, when I could not find a tap, I made my own. It got me through the 15 parts that I had.
The parts were 1018 and the tap is a chunk of A2 threaded, fluted and relieved.
