I’ve been looking for a steady rest for my 10 inch Shelton Lathe, but they are few and far between. Are there other brands of 9 or 10 inch rests that could be easily adapted for use on my Shelton?

As mentioned elsewhere, I have an extra.
The guy that wanted it hasn't emailed in a couple days, so it may come up available for swap or......
Thanks for that link. I have a 10" sheldon myself and wouldn't mind having a steadyrest. JTiers, I would consider the one you have but there are two people ahead of me. If they don't want it I may consider it.

I'm interested. Can you send a photo?

I had another guy who wanted it, and hadn't heard from him for several days (we had been negotiating).
I asked if the deal was off, at which point he got re-interested, so we'll have to see if that works out first.
This is crazy.... I've had the thig for 5 years, and couldn't swing a trade for a Logan steady (it came with my Logan). Finally bought a Logan steady. Now I found 3 people who are interested, and one wanted to trade a Logan steady! ..... go figure.
