Have a Bridgeport that needs to have a broken tube removed from the saddle. How does one remove (and install) the plastic tube from where it is inserted into the casting of the saddle..Thanks..Herb

I am not positive about yours,but they normaly have collars (ferrules?) on the plastic tube and a nipple thing inside thiese can be found at most Ace hardware stores as well as the tubeing.

If by removing the tube from the saddle you are talking about the brass connector with a compression ring, then those parts are available direct from Bijur although they have a minimum order as I recall. Another souce I have heard recommended is here:

If, on the other hand, you are referring to the ends of the tubing that are just stuck in the holes in the saddle to provide oil feed through passages to the ways etc...they just pull out on mine:-) Could be that your tubing has swelled a little, but try just pulling it out or drilling carefully if it is broken below flush.
