I have a reader Teledyne Gurley model 8920 that I managed save from a building being demolished. It was still in it's original box even though it was about 35years old. I have been haunting ebay trying to get a scale for it but no luck. Is it possible to use another brand of scale(s)? It has an eight hole plug about 1" round with two wires in the center and six surounding wires. Can I unwrap another plug and insert them individualy into the unit I have. Eight wires ! MMMMMMm I wonder how many combinations before you get lucky. My blind chicken would probably get luckier sooner. Any ideas???
