metal/lathe instruction in Boston Ma???

I have not had any luck in finding any sources
of instruction on how to work with metal and lathes in the boston area...

Any suggestions on where to look?

You may want to start attending meetings of the New England Model Engineering Society in Waltham, MA. First Thursday of every month at the Charles River Museum of Industry.
