Gingery Machine Shop

Hello. I am working on the Gingery Machine Shop project. I am "Tim the Tool Man Taylor"izing it a bit, naturally. For example, the lathe I build will offer a 10" swing and an 18" C-to-C, with section thickness, way widths, etc. suitably adjusted.

Looking for others have have built/used Dave Gingery's machines. Thanks in advance

Increase the thickness of the ways to .500 or.625 for extra rigitity. You will have to make some addjustments in fasteners and spacing, but nothing you can't handle. If you need some one to talk to call me. Frank B. McClain Indianapolis In.
