As promised, I have posted some pics of the finished machine on my web site. I have straped on a scrap piece of cane and gave it a try. It even cuts dry cane.....
I have to make a couple of traverse stops for it but that's about all.

We took the machine to a Bassoonist from the Cleveland Orch who makes his own reeds and he was very impressed with the machine.
We'll see how powerful "word of mouth" is....
