Anyone in Brooklyn New York? Iv'e been working with machines for about 18 years now.
You never have enough machines or tools.

Also am looking for any information about Troglia Manufacturing. Bought a lathe on ebay
and it needs a lot of work. I hope they're still in business.

We leave the lights off all the time now.

Makes it harder for those bastards to fly airliners into us http://bbs.homeshopmachinist.net//frown.gif

Hey! Brooklyn!! Does the Pratt Institute still exist and do they still generate their own electricity with steam power??

They still exist. At least, the last time I drove past there about a year ago it was still around http://bbs.homeshopmachinist.net//biggrin.gif
As far as generating their own power, that's news to me. I had no idea there were others who didn't like ConEdison's rates http://bbs.homeshopmachinist.net//biggrin.gif
(accent on the Con)

You are not alone. I spend lots of time in Brooklyn, while spending as much time as possible in Upstate NY.

I don't believe there is enough junked machinery and rusty metal in Scotland to keep me busy http://bbs.homeshopmachinist.net//biggrin.gif

Just picked up a slicing machine in the street tonight. Its got a nice worm gearbox on it http://bbs.homeshopmachinist.net//smile.gif

You find stuff like that in Brooklyn all the time, just not in all areas http://bbs.homeshopmachinist.net//smile.gif
