Western Kentucky?

Anybody know of any machine shop clubs in Western Kentucky? I'm from Benton which is about 20 miles southeast of Paducah.

Hey there.
Doc8n near Bowling Green told me that as far as tool auctions, tool and machinist clubs, used and new tool dealers, those of us in Western Ky are in "Death Valley". There ain't much happening here.

I noticed on your profile that you are a teacher. I was just wondering where you teach and what subject do you teach. I teach Machine Tool Technology in Mayfield Ky. My wife also is a teacher and believe it or not, she is from Muhlenberg Co.

I have thought about starting a machine shop club in this area but like Doc said this part of the country is pretty dead when it comes to machine shops. I'm afraid that it would be a one member club. http://bbs.homeshopmachinist.net//smile.gif

I used to teach Industrial Arts, but that has gone the way of the Dodo bird. I am teaching technology education now to middle school students. My wife is a teacher also,grades 4-6.

How long has your wife been out of Muhlenberg county? If only in the last few years I might now her. Which high school did she attend?
Muhlenberg Central is gone (big time gone) and has been rebuilt into an unrecognizable structure. It is now North Middle. Where I teach 1/2 day. Other half is at South Middle.
