According to the web page, *manual* start at $100 for 0-35 pages and go up from there to a max of $400 for 201+ pages.
This may be the only option for some obscure machine manuals but at least some of them are available from other sources at much lower cost.
For example, Clausing sells most of the manuals for their older machine tools at $25 or less, at least the ones that I've checked, and Machinery Manuals lists the cheapest one at $100.
A more general and cheaper source is http://www.lathes.co.uk/manuals.htm. This site also has an amazing amount of info on the older machine tools that are appropriate for the home shop.

www.machinerybrochures.com (http://www.machinerybrochures.com) is a good source however they do not come cheap. The manual for my Index Milling Machine was about $100 Which I was happy to pay before I found that Index was still in business as Wells Index, which list this manual for $25. So I would recommend them as a last resort.

I would recommend a search done at www.google.com (http://www.google.com) before spending any money, as there are many sources under the heading "machinery brochures". I quoted the above as stated in the Editorial. Yes, they are expensive. There are many guys always looking for manuals in HSM. I stated it as an information source. Don't know why their manuals are so expensive other than they can.

Could I respectfully point out that on Tony Griffiths site at http://www.lathes.co.uk ,mentioned by MikeHenry that Tony produces the whole of that web site on CD for a very reasonable fee.
Very handy for looking up obsure data and not having to wait for large down loads.
Usual not associated rubbish.
