Does anyone know if a hole gage is available from 1/2" and up? I have found plenty of bit size hole gages from 1/16 th to 1/2, but can't find any that goes bigger. If you know of one, E-mail me. ref@kiva.net THANKS

Lots of vendors sell 'em. They're listed as telescoping gages. My Starrett set measures from 1/2" to 6".

myself, I use INTRIMIKS,made by BROWN&SHARPE.
These are direct reading ,on three points, made in the range of .275-to 12". THEY ARE VERY EXPENCEIVE,MOST ARE PRICED ABOUT 450.00- 1000.00 EACH. I find most of the ones I have at the FLEAS MARTS.

Bob: You can purchase Precision Pin Gauges in sizes from a few thou to several inches. If you must know exactly your hole sizes look into these - they are quite reasonable in the smaller sizes. Checking for out of round conditions will require more expensive tools.
