Would anybody know of a commercial source for splined couplings? I believe in the old maxim:"Don't make it if you can buy it!"(Within reason, of course) THANKS!!

Try Boston Gear. What style of spline? tractor pto? 540? 1000? 1000hd?
Square? Triangle? then try a farm store or tractor dealer. If it is small and light then you could try a junk yard for drive shafts, front or rear. or if you want new any big truck drive shaft shop (U-joint sales and service hear in Buffalo, NY area)will have many sizes and styles. I think Granger has some weld together stuff but I don't have the cat. handy to check. Good luck.
