Aw right. I wanted to seal a couple of parts and the sealant has dried in the cut-to-fit plastic nozzle on the tube.
Same thing happens with silicone, and I end up buying a new tube and throwing out the old one, still half full.
Yeah, I know I could clean 'em out, but...
Anybody got a source for the nozzles alone?
Thanks.

Loctite might have what you need. I use hyperdermic syringes to do fine stuff.

One trick is to stick a nail in the nozzle, instead of putting on a cap. Pull the nail out, and your ready to squirt.

Sounds like a workable solution for incontinence too Paul. ;-)

To close the end of silicone tubes, I use a wire nut. Just screw it on and it forms the threads on the end of the tube.

Ron,

You are a machinist, make your own damn caps. Then tell us how to do it - we have the same problem...

Hay Guys

Use an wood screw eye bolt, screw it in the nozzel and when you want to use it again you have a ready made handle to take it out.

Charlie.

I've been using Charlie's idea for years and it works like a charm.

Thanks, guys.
Been out of town. The screw in the end doesn't work with this sealant; it still goes off and plugs the end.
Thrud,
If I find a solution, I promise I'll report.
