A friend of mine had a Bridgeport 15" rotary table out in his yard for the past many months. I talked him into letting me put it in better surroundings and get it working again.
I have all of it disassembled except for the worm shaft. I have the pivot cover plates removed and took out the set screw, but the bushing is siezed into the pivot in a big way. What I can't see from parts drawing I have is how the worm shaft bushing is fixed to the pivot. Is it threaded in or a pressed taper, or just pressed, or...? I hate to torque it much further fearing damage to parts that just need to be cleaned (so far). Have any of you removed the worm shaft from one of these things? What is the trick?
Here's a pic of the drawing, which probably won't be much help unless you have been there before

Thanks for any help.
