Is anyone familiar with Enco's milling machines?

They're running a sale on their 8x36 and I'm wondering how they compare to Jet.

Have the Jet 836 it's a nice machine, but ... the grizzly 3616 looks to be more machine for less money - even paying the shipping it's less than the Enco on sale.

Qsmdo,
I purchased an Enco 9 x 42 change belt in 1992.
The machine has fed the family and made many, many
hobby projects.
I've worn out two drawbars in that time.
I suspect many of the common name brands are ok.
The two Euromills I've been involved with had spindle bearing
problems.

That IS a nice machine, but the table travels put me off a bit.
Another one of theirs that seems to be more of a direct comparison to the Jet is the model 6760.
Speeds, size, travels, etc.

Am I overlooking something really important?

Certainly can't argue with success!
And you're lucky to have that talent.
Thankfully I'm in a position to look at a machine on this level to just screw around with and I've no doubt I'll never come near the capability of the machine.
I just want to have fun!
"HSM", that's me. ;)
