Cowells are not very far from where I live, maybe 30 mins away. They have been around for a long time but other than that I dont know much about them.

Interestingly they are just off the same main road out of town and about 10 miles from where Colchester Lathes had their factory, but of course that is long gone now. Back in the late '70s my company worked with Colchester to make injection moulded plastic handwheels for the gear selector system and I had quite a few visits to the old factory before they fnally moved and shut down.
