of hand does anyone know if this is a biopolar or unipolar stepper motors
i would ask the seller, but he says he doesnt know much about the stepper motors

the only thing that can help to know if it is biopolar or unipolar is that it has 8 wires

i can't get your link to work - the unipolar steppers i've seen have 6 wires and the bipolar have four...shows how much i know on the topic :)

Type 42 ,8 wire can be wired for series or parallel in Bi polar mode.

Are you in the UK as these are very heavy bits of kit and are for full sized machines and shipping will be a killer.
Far too big for mill drills etc.
They are also at the extreme end of drivers.
Gecko's will drive these but not at full speed.
They are dinosaurs in today's world
