Looking for Boxes

The calibration lab I work at is currently in need of some new boxes to house their gage block sets in. The gage block sets are the ones our techs take out on the road to do on-site calibrations. The gage blocks themselves are in good shape, its the wood boxes they are in are coming apart.

We are looking for the boxes that contain the 81 piece, thin rectangular type gage blocks. Any help with a souce for these boxes would be appreciated.

Well, there's the obvious "try the gage block manufacturer."

If that's been tried and didn't work, try Starrett (assuming they aren't the gage block manufacturer....) Starrett is pretty good about helping with one-of-a-kind requests.

One other suggestion, buy a cheap set of gage blocks and steal their cases.

I have the best idea yet....... buy a cheap set of gauges, keep the box, send me the gauges for long term storage, saving you some shelf space.
