Looks ok, if you have enough years left on your calendar to wait around for it to finish. For everyday stuff my preference is a chop saw in the driveway.

Sold a similar one for $100, fifteen years ago..........time's running out!

Thanks anyway.

Ilove listening to those old power hacksaws, sort of reminds me of my shaper.

I was kinda thinking about it....until I saw that it's 3phase...I notice he didn't exactly promote that fact though. Will be interesting to see if it sells and for how much. (Fortunately it is only an hour or so from here.)

Mark, it'd be too easy to change it to a single phase motor. An old guy here has one of those(a little bigger though). He uses it to cut stainless tubing so he doesn't bugger up the pricey bandsaw blades.

Oh I realize that it wouldn't be hard to change, but since I don't have a spare motor around that would work, and you add that to the price, (plus the fact I already have a little bandsaw), then I don't know that I need it that bad. Going to watch it though to see wat happens to the bidding. (None as of yet.)

No bids yet....but, in the meantime, it looks like the wife has been accepted in a full time college course starting in September....why do I think it would be a BAD idea to buy more toys (oops, I mean TOOLS, yep, I do!!)
