This AM I am trying to "lurk" the "general" category. What I get when I call up "page 1" is a page 1 from 2001 with a comment about Schaublin lathes. Only by logging in was I able to post this thread, but I'm still not able to pull up the current "page1". Is it something I'm doing or is the site just hosed?

Ed are you logging on using this url? www.homeshopmachinist.net

Then click on "interactive" and then machinist bbs forum.

Might give this a try.

I tried to log onto the above site and did so successfully, but I'm still having the same problem. Whenever I go to the archive file, the "page1" that comes up is a page that was generated in 2001. The first topic on this page is on Schaublin. Page 2 seems to be OK, but I dont understand what I'm doing that could account for this problem, and so far, I have found no way to make it go away! Help!!!!

I'll assume you are serious...

Why are you clicking on "archive"? That *should be* old stuff. The more recent forum content is in "General".

If you are looking for older information, you can use the search function.

I didn't fix it, I hid it. That's the best I could do without administrator access.
