here is our attempt at building converting my spin indexer to work in combination with a diamong cup wheel to sharpen mill tools Fred my elderly friend did it for me I hope you like his efforts as he deserves praise for this first picture is my new woodturning lathe 2.5.metres long Alistair

I'll be interested to see how that works out Alistair. They have the same spindex on sale here for $45 cdn right now.

You really had me worried for a moment. I thought for a second you had used up all your green paint. :D

It looks like Fred did a good job for you!!

Hope that you get to use it soon, lets see some pictures of it in operation.

alistair hi, yep nice job, well done threre freddie boy, my friend has done something along these lines for his tool sharpening but he mounts his setup on the cross slide of his lathe and has made an attachment for the diamond wheel to go on the spindle, he showed me the drills and endmills that he sharpened and seemed to get an excellent result.

what make is the wood lathe? that seems to be a robust machine.

Nice mount a small vise on it and you can sharpen yuor lathe tool bits. A adjustable angle plate.

The wood lathe is a startrite it is an industrial machine 2.5metres long 1.5 between centres Alistair
