A few months ago I started to rebuild my heavy ten> Ibought a manuel off ebay, but it isn't very good. I sand blasted all the castings, cleaned everything up real nice. I can't figure out how to correctly assemble the belt tensioning lever. And I when the spindle turn the lead screw wont. If anyone has any advise I would be grateful. Thank you

The first rule of intelligent tinkering is to save all the parts. I hope you did!
I can't help you with the belt tensioner, but the spindle/leadscrew connection is through the gearing on the left end of the head and the gearbox...maybe that's obvious. Do you have the tumbler reverse set correctly? That's the lever, which has three positions, at the left end of the spindle. Center position is neutral, which disengages the drive from the spindle to the leadscrew. "Up" is normal drive to the gearbox, "Down" is reverse drive.----------
