Is there anyone who knows somewhere to get free drawings of model engines? Steam-, stirling-, jet- or gasengine.

Try some of these. Mostly steam and stirling engines. Most are little easy plans but what do you expect for free.

Meant to post a reply on this question but, at the time I couldn't find my record of the url.
Here are two pulse jet sites and one contains neat plans for a range of Pulse jet engines. Simple to make and good fun.
One place I worked built a rather similar, but larger version of one of these as part of the AHC activities. We fired it up outside the workshop and had complaints from 2 miles away about the noise! Strain gauged the bench and got some power measurements off it.
These are also, I would think, good practical teaching aids. Gets the youngsters interested in 'doing' some research with a positive end to the project. It also raises some historical questions.
and probably the best site is this one:-
