I picked up three of these, and cannot ID them. They are marked Wadkin LTD, Leicester, WLC XX depending on size. They are 3" long, 1-1/4" on large end, 0.673" small end. Drawbar thread is close to 7/16"_14, but it only makes a turn or two.
Does anyone recognize or have a use for these?

JC;
Any chance these might be spindle shaper collets. Wadkin is/was a maker of woodworking machinery, weren't they ? I also recall a name, Wadkin-Bursgren (sp?)....
Hope that helps....

Rick, Thanks, They could be from anything. They came from a shop that did a lot of grinding and gage making, so I guessed metal working related.
I have three, 1/4", 3/8" & 1/2". I have no use for them, and if no one else does, they will be gone.
