I am looking for a toolholder that was used on an old production turret lathe. It has a handle on it that will raise the tool to cut a recess behind threads to hold the sealing washer. It was used for years at my previous employer, but they no longer exist, and machinery was sold to lord knows who. Dorian and Aloris are checking but even they sounded lost.

May I ask why you aren't having these done on a CNC? 2000 pcs/quarter, ID threads, ID groove, sealing surfaces sounds like CNC work to me.

Part is a molded plastic fog nozzle, everything is formed but the recess for the washer to seal when you screw nozzle on to hose. (why they don't mold the recess into the part also, is a whole different arguement that we have had with management for years, I've worked with this product for 17years and no progress yet.

Ahh makes sense now. I was thinking a machined part.
