Well, I see they've arrested an Iowa machinist in this bomb threat case.

That means, no doubt, that homeland security is trolling on this board too. I hope they get as many chuckles as I do.

Well, I went from being an Iowa machinist to an Okie machinist. Not sure what that says about either place.
Honestly, I owe a lot of thanks to the Iowa tool and diemakers who helped me starting out on the bench.

Well, I certainly have the utmost respect for our own John Foster!
(...who's from Iowa.)
Actually I have the utmost respect for all Iowan's, having lived and worked there for two years.

Oops most sincere apologies Wolfie! I did NOT intentionally exclude you. John's name just happened to come to mind at the time.
Actually, I also tend to view CB as part of Omaha anyway. No offense intended there either. I lived in Papillon and kinda viewed everything other than Papillon, Lavista, and Bellevue as "Omaha".

I hate to see any machinist go over the edge.
What defines the edge? Saying a few choice words or threatening the sale of the equipment can be viewed as "over the edge". :D
I am glad this clown is off of the streets! I feel bad for the kids, though. They didn't make the choice of having him for a father!

With the Dems. in control of Congress and their views on gun control, I can just see what they will be proposing next. All machinist are Terroist Bombers!! Register all mills and lathes. No one needs a mill or lathe with a capacity of more than 6 inches! If the mill or lathe have attached handles, just like the lathes and mills used by the military, they will be banned. All machinist must have a background checks and mental tests before they will be allowed to purchasing cutting tools. Etc, etc., etc.
