5.563 Dia. x5.5295 Wall (.134) Schedule #10 Stainless 304. I was wondering if this schedule 10 material is always a welded type?? Is this the proper normal way it comes? Or is it supposed to be seamless???

I'm pretty sure it comes both ways....with the welded being by far the most common and least expensive.

One of my customers supplies me with cut to length sections of various 304 & 316 SS pipe sizes which have to be bored out to size on the ends. These are always welded pipe (except once). The material is fairly soft so boring through the weld is no problem, if that's your concern.

Pipe almost always has a seam, seamless pipe is made, but very expensive, tubing can come seamless, like in food grade, but the cheaper tubing will also have a seam.
