I saw this Rokon Trail-Breaker at the Jerome mining museum. I remember them from the 1960s, but had forgotten all about them.

I was surprised to learn that the Rokon is still being made http://www.rokon.com/products/trailbrkr.htm.

This is the only 2-wheel-drive motorcycle I know of, but I expect there were others.

Is that a museum. It looks like a junk yard. I would like to visit . like the old Hit Miss engine.

Junkyard or museum? that is the question. Everywhere you look there is old machinery.

There are no junkyard dogs, but there are guard chickens, and a wandering donkey. Here is an octagonal outhouse:

My friend Gale, shown here with her son (13), summed it up. "It's a Route 66 experience."

Yamaha Has a 2 wheel drive dirt bike that they have run in the Dakar Rally the last couple of years. There are also a couple of kits to convert your dirt bike to 2 wheel drive. The articles were in Cycle World over the past couple of years and the kits were a bit pricey, as I recall. If I remember correctly, one was mechanical and the other was hydraulic.
