I just made 2 more of these drill press adapter plates, when drilling the slots in the drill press vise and the t-slots in the drill press table rarely line up, and I can't properly secure the vise to the table. About 5 years ago I made the first plate, I now have them on all of my drill presses and have made some for friends.

I used a 1/2" steel plate, drilled and tapped hole to match the slots in the drill press vise, and cut slots in the plate to match the t-slots in the table. With multiple set of drill holes, there is a very wide range of adjustability, and there is alway 4 bolts holding the vise to the plate and 4 bolts holding the plate to the table. I've also made some that are drilled to accept 3 different vises, a 6" low profile drill pres vise, a 8" tall vise, and a 4" compound angle vise.
