This is some beautiful work.
Yes, Heath is the man.
And, amazingly enough, he works entirely alone.
He does all the design work (on a Mac, running windows, strangely enough)
then has the stainless parts laser cut.
But once the parts are back in his shop, he assembles them himself, basically folding them over his knee, as his designs are so clever that he doesnt need to use a brake or rolls to get them to bend, he welds them himself, he grinds them himself, and then he flies to Dubai, and installs them himself.
I dont care how cheap the chinese work, they cant do what Heath does.
In fact, he has sold work, strictly from web photos, to rich chinese businessmen for skyscraper lobbies in Hong Kong.
He will never employ 500 guys, or have a row of bridgeports- but, in a lot of ways, he is one future direction for american metalwork.
