I am not sure, what is the scale on the cross feed screw in my Logan 200. I believe it is 1/100 fraction = 1/1000", but I was wrong at least once in my life:D

turn the handle one revolution

them measure the crossfeeds travel ...

then its all simple maths

all the best.markj

It should be simple enough to check if you have a dial indicator.
I was confused about the feed rate on my lathe plate, 'sumpin just ain't right. I checked it with the old dial and, guess what, ....... metric!
OOOOHHH, that 'splains a lot............. duh.

My Logan's a 940 but I'm pretty sure it's the same. 10tpi on the leadscrews means .100" per full revolution. .001 for each grad mark.

When turning a dia it will cut double tho because you're cutting both sides. If you want .010 dial in .005 etc.

If I remember correctly my Logan was in .001" increments and .001" on the dial took .002" off the diameter of the work.

Out of the four lathe i have regular access to, two of them read in diameter and the other two read radius. Not a big deal unless you forget...
