Does anyone know a source of plans for a working windmill? I would like to build one. I have just finished building a 7:5 " scale steam locomotive and need a new project. Thanks, John

Do you mean a windmill like this? http://www.aermotorwindmill.com/ . These are still being made in San Anselmo, Texas. That's a nice small city -- it has a small park with ponds containing water lilies from around the world. Worth a trip to see the lilies, and the windmill factory.

John,

The Dutch are famous for their windmills:

Pity they also happen to speak Dutch...

Windmills like this are used all over Alberta to pump water.

Also, where are the pics of the locomotive?

And lastly, not to ruin the atmosphere completely; welcome to the HSM forum!
We hope to hear more from you.
